Sonics Basketball

Founded in the early 2000s, Sonics started as a small group of players who loved the game of basketball and were willing to grow together. Most of those players paved the road for the future of basketball in this hometown and through that many players have grown under their guidance. Most notable names are Coach Jeff, our Patron Mr.Ouma.....and that is how the basketball culture has been solid in Kimilili.
Through this amazing culture is how we get to build players from when they are young to when they are ready to play in any sort of basketball competition.

We consist of all players male and female from all age groups (6-40s) some who don't just play but take the responsibility of coaching the young and upcoming players by sharing what they have experienced throught their journey in basketball.
It's through their kind sharing that we are able not only to grow in basketball but as a family at large, not only on the court but even outside the basketball court

When we are together we consider that our home, where we can all meet, train and interact with each other and build our basketball family, the Kimilili Sonics family. We are appreciative of all outside help that we get from well wishers and friends of this family because we never forget their contributions to building this family.
The future is bright for us only if we keep pushing and grinding, and that is just but our aim, to push further and grind harder, all day.
